Callie Rabinovitz is a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Inequality at Brown University. She is originally from Brookline, MA.
Callie is deeply interested in the role of both environmental policy and impact investing in driving the sustainable transition. She is a student researcher at Brown University’s Climate and Development Lab where she produces impactful quantitative and qualitative sociological research to support the passage of effective climate policy.
Callie also has significant marketing and communications experience through her work at the personal safety alarm set up She’s Birdie, as well as nonprofits such as The New Fashion Initiative and Project Matriarchs. Callie has also worked at Helpsy, a textile reuse and recycling company, where she developed the company’s “Impact Calculator” to determine the environmental footprint of merchandise.
Outside of school Callie is a member of Brown University’s improv theater troupe, “Improvidence”, and a co-leader of Brown University’s club for Jews of Color, “Hilellin with Melanin”.
