Michael Reeves is Founder and Managing Partner at QuiVive Global Advisory LLC -- an independent consulting firm established to advise a select group of market-rate sustainability and impact investment strategies and businesses.
Michael has more than twenty-five year’s experience in the asset management industry and has led or co‐led the marketing and investor relations effort at each of the firms for which he has worked. Michael has significant experience with a range of strategies and structures and has worked with investors on six continents. Prior to business school, Reeves worked for five years in higher education institutional advancement.
Reeves is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a fellowship that serves as a catalyst for a diverse network of leaders and social entrepreneurs brought together to collaborate and make a difference in the world, having studied leadership through the lens of the presidential experiences of George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson.
Michael currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of the South (Sewanee) and is also on the Advisory Board for Sewanee’s RISE Scholars initiative, a program that develops and supports first generation college students with leadership potential who are invested in creating a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Michael volunteers through the Duke-UNICEF Innovation Accelerator, where he has served as a Mentor to Naivasha, Kenya based Sanivation, a sanitation partner for Africa’s secondary cities. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the United Nations Committee of New Canaan.
Mr. Reeves holds a BA from the University of the South (Sewanee) and earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
