Chike Aguh focuses on the future of work and its associated impacts on and opportunities for nations, organizations, workers and underserved communities.
Prior to accepting a role in Public Service in 2021, Chike was Senior Principal, Director of Product and Future of Work Lead at the McChrystal Group, a firm founded by U.S. Army Gen. (ret.) Stanley McChrystal, which transforms clients into adaptable 21st Century organizations. He is also a Technology and Human Rights Fellow at the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, where he focuses on the future of work and its impacts on racial equity. Additionally, he is a faculty member at Columbia University, teaching leadership and strategy. He has served as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Future of Work Taskforce, expert advisor to the American AI Forum, and inaugural Future of Work Fellow at the International Society for Technology in Education.
Previously, Mr. Aguh worked as an education policy official under the Mayor of New York City, and as a 2nd grade teacher and Teach For America corps member. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Thailand, a corporate strategy director at the Advisory Board Company, and CEO of a national social enterprise which helped connect 500,000 low-income Americans in 48 states to affordable internet and digital skills. He is currently a partner at Maryland-based Inncuvate which grows inclusive innovation businesses and ecosystems.
Mr. Aguh is a Presidential Leadership Scholar; Council on Foreign Relations term member; 40 under 40 honoree from the Wharton School and Washington Business Journal; past member of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government's Alumni Board of Directors; and Advisory Board Chair of the Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund.
Chike holds degrees from Tufts University (BA), the Harvard Graduate School of Education (EdM), the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (MPA), and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School (MBA).
