Olha Krushelnytska is a Sustainable Finance Manager at the World Bank, working on greening the global financial system. Olha’s career has touched nearly every aspect of sustainable finance, spanning financial policy reform, investment research, social and environmental assessments, ESG analysis, and impact investments.
At the World Bank’s Global Environmental Facility Trust Fund (GEF), Ms. Krushelnytska regularly communicates with 30+ national governments on their environmental finance agendas. Olha works on both sides of sustainable finance – environmental policy and projects as well as investment analysis and financial policy. Olha specializes in ESG integration and blended finance for impact investing. She has led international working groups on the issues of environmental impact analysis and marine investments, helping build multi-million dollar programs in ecosystem services valuations, fisheries and pollution management.
Ms. Krushelnytska serves on the Board of Directors of The Ocean Foundation, the only community foundation for the ocean, dedicated to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments around the world. She is a frequent speaker on the topics of ESG and sustainability and is fluent in English, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. Olha is a CFA charterholder and is the first person in the United States to have earned the CFA ESG investing certification.
Ms. Krushelnytska holds an MA in economics and management from Lviv Polytechnic National University in Lviv, Ukraine, as well as an MA in international relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she was an Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellow.
